Meet The ‘200-Year-Old Mummified Monk’ Who Is One-Step Away From Becoming Real-Life Buddha

The mummified body of a 200-year-old Buddhist monk was recently found in Mongolia. At the time, forensics experts had made the claim that the man had long been deceased. But now a Buddhist diplomats are claiming that the monk is, in fact, alive and simply in a deep state of meditation, only a single step away from total enlightenment.
This 200-year-old man, who is assumed alive initially topped the news in January 2015 after Mongolian officials confiscated it from individuals trying to sell the remains on the black market. A forensics investigation is still ongoing, but from initial visual tests, experts came to the conclusion that the man was likely 200 years old and exceptionally well preserved, found wrapped in cattle skin.
The man was also discovered in a lotus position, as if he was still meditating, leading many to believe that this was a Buddhist monk. Approximately, more than 40 cases were registered over last 50 years which has similar verdicts.

The man was also discovered in a lotus position, as if he was still meditating, leading many to believe that this was a Buddhist monk. Approximately, more than 40 cases were registered over last 50 years which has similar verdicts.
Dr Barry Kerzin, a famous Buddhist monk and a physician to the Dalai Lama, recently told a news channel that he has seen several high-ranking monks attempts to enter a higher state of meditation – called a tukdam state.
In this state, the meditator’s heart rate slows to a near-undetectable pace and he can appear dead. With all metabolic processes slowing – much like how some animals hibernate – the body begins to very gradually burn the bare minimum of energy to stay alive.

“If the person is able to remain in this state for more than three weeks – which rarely happens – his body gradually shrinks, and in the end, all that remains from the person is his hair, nails, and clothes,” Kerzin explained.

“Usually, in this case, people who live next to the monk see a rainbow that glows in the sky for several days. This means that he has found a rainbow body.”
“This is the highest state close to the state of Buddha” he added.

If a person remains in this kind of deep meditative state their body will enter into a kind of “luminous wakefulness,” according to Tibetan Buddhist Lama Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche.
“At that moment, the experience of luminous wakefulness is very strong and one simply remains in its composure naturally, meaning that high lamas or someone with deep experience and realisation will naturally dissolve into or expand into this state of samadhi,” said Thrangu Rinpoche in an interview with Rangjung Yeshe Publications.

“When the ground luminosity dawns by itself, they recognise it, and then remain in equanimity – that is what is called ‘remaining in tukdam” Thrangu added.

Why Jeans Have Small Buttons Near The Pockets? Here’s The Answer

Everyone of us will wear a Jean on a regular basis. Did you observe those tiny buttons on the pocket of your jeans?? Did you ever questioned yourself why those tiny buttons on your jeans are for?
Well they are not just a design accessory or a fashion trend of jeans as you think. Those tiny bits of metal on the pockets of your jeans are actually really important. Without them your jeans would be full of holes. The small bits of metal on pocket of jeans are called ‘Rivets’.

The History of Jeans and Rivets:

In olden days jeans were considered perfect clothing for people who do hard physical work because of its roughness. As the time passes it became more popular and maximum class of the people started to use it. During that time, it was a common problem that the pocket would get ripped because of their physical work.
For this reason, the wife of a mining labourer went to Jacob Davis, a tailor, and asked if he could create a pair of denim work trousers that would not tear so easily.
Mr Davis came up with the idea of putting rivets on the areas that expose most strain, such as pocket corners and the base of the fly. The rivets put an end to the ripping apart of jeans helped to increase the lifespan of the trouser.

Jacob Davis & Levis Strauss:

Mr Davis joined with Levi Strauss, the man behind Levi’s jeans who sold Mr Davis the fabric to make his trousers. The two men received a patent for “Improvement in Fastening Pocket-Openings” on the design in 1873, and the riveted trousers became a huge success. Then they took the name ‘jeans’ during the 1960’s.

Congratulate Mr Davis & Levi Strauss for making your jeans durable so long-lasting.

CEO Of Levi’s Says “NOT TO WASH YOUR JEANS”! Here Is The Reason

A lot of fashion experts have one dirty secret, they have never, ever washed their jeans. Yes, you read it right. Levi’s CEO and President Chip Bergh is one among them. Machine-washing a good pair of jeans can actually cause damage to the material. Mr. Bergh explained that he “spot cleans” any stains with a toothbrush.
Most clothes come with simple washing instructions, which I’d hazard most men interpret as “pick quickest setting, use same for everything, hope for best”. Raw denim is best given a good six months before washing. The longer you can leave it, the better your jeans will look.

Speaking to Fortune in a video he said: “The point I was trying to make… it was a wake-up call to consumers that we go into autopilot and after we’re finished wearing something, we just automatically toss it into the laundry.
A good pair of denim doesn’t need to be washed in the washing machine except for very infrequently or rarely. His argument is based on the fact that washing a good pair of Levi’s actually causes damage to the material and is a waste of water.

Watch The Video Here:

As Chip explains that washing denim often actually causes more harm than good to the cloth. If they do get dirty, just clean the dirty spot and if they are a mess then do it the old-fashioned way Levi’s CEO does: Wash them with your hands and hang them to dry.

Hiut Denim’s website says: “Raw denim is best given a good six months before washing. The longer you can leave it, the better your jeans will look

Vogue’s Denim Editor Kelly Connor says,  ‘I don’t wash my jeans. If it’s vintage Levi’s and raw denim, I never wash them. And I haven’t gotten to the gross point—or maybe I have, and I’m just not that clean in general.’

This advice may have brought some really happy news. Let us know your views in the comments below.

Here Is The Happiest News About “Witch Child” Who Was Abandoned By His Parents

Did you identify this boy? If am not wrong you must obviously be familiar with this viral photo of the African child who was abandoned by his parents. The Nigerian child was just two years old when he was abandoned by his family members because they believed he was a witch.
In January 2016, an emaciated little boy was found roaming the streets of southern Nigeria. The boy, now called Hope, was abandoned by his family because they thought he was a witch and was found in the streets by Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish woman living in Africa, on January 31.

Ms. Loven fed the child and named him Hope. She wrapped him up in a blanket and took him to the hospital for treatment.

Anja Ringgren Loven marked the landmark in three-year-old Hope’s life by recreating the image of her, encouraging him to drink from a bottle of water, which was shared around the world one year ago.
Just one year later, Hope is thriving: On Tuesday, January 31, the happy, healthy toddler embarked on his first day of school. And to celebrate the milestone, Loven re-created the iconic image of her, encouraging him to drink from a bottle of water. The difference between the two pictures, taken 13 months apart, is remarkable.

David Emmanuel Umem, run an orphanage in southeast Nigeria for children who have been abandoned by their families as a result of superstitious beliefs, called the African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation (ACAEDF).

They took on and named then-two-year-old Hope on 30 January 2016, after he had been accused of being a witch. Hope was emaciated, riddled with worms and suffering hypospadias, “an inborn condition in which one has an incomplete developed urethra”, she says.

The woman who saved him has shared photos showing his incredible recovery.

Writing on Facebook at the start of this week, Ms Loven said: “On the 30 January 2016, I went on a rescue mission with David Emmanuel Umem, Nsidibe Orok and our Nigerian team.
“A rescue mission that went viral, and today it’s exactly 1 year ago the world came to know a young little boy called Hope. “This week Hope will start school.”

If You Notice Someone With A Black Dot On Their Palm, Call The Police Immediately! Check Why

If you happen to see someone with a black dot on their palm. you should call the police immediately. Are you wondering why?
The answer is the Black Dot Campaign which began on Facebook and this campaign is a way to recognize victims of domestic abuse. The black dot means that this person is in trouble and signifies a call for help.

Actually, it gives them a way of asking for help without being vocal about it. In most of the cases, the victims will be unable to ask for help and this black dot enables them to show that they need some. This is so because probably their abuser might be watching their every move.

Hence, in order to show that they are in danger and they need help, people who are victims of domestic violence put a dot on their palm.

The campaign was launched on Facebook and it now has millions of followers. In fact, the woman that created it told Fox News that within 24 hours, it had already reached over 6 thousand people worldwide, and had helped 6 women.

According to the organizers, spreading the campaign is an important step in the efforts to help victims of violence. You should take a look at the story of one victim of domestic violence.

Story From Survivor of Domestic Violence:

“I’m heavily pregnant and the baby’s father is very abusive. With words, his hands. I’ve been petrified for so long and even more with the baby coming soon. I was at the hospital yesterday, he was with me, he never leaves my side anymore. I had to have an examination so the consultant asked me to lie on the bed and drew the curtain. I leaned over and took the pen out of his pocket, pulled his hand over to me and wrote HELP ME. I didn’t have to say a word. “This campaign gave me the strength and the idea how to ask for help. I am now safe somewhere else thanks to that consultant and the black dot campaign. Thank you, 1 week for going until my due date and I am finally safe.”

What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments below and don’t forget to share this post with your Facebook friends.
